Policy on AIDS, HIV Infection, and HBV
UTSA recognizes Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) as serious public health issues and is committed to encouraging an informed and educated response to concerns and questions regarding these infections. Please refer to the Handbook of Operating Procedures, Chapter 9, 9.22, for the most current policy.
Programs offered in conjunction with UT Health San Antonio may require the Hepatitis B vaccine. Educational materials and questions regarding HIV and Hepatitis B virus can be addressed at Student Health Services.
