UTSA recognizes Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) as serious public health threats and is committed to encouraging an informed and educated response to issues and questions concerning these infections. Please refer to the HOP 9.22 Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection and Hepatitis B Virus, for the most current policy.
Programs offered in conjunction with UT Health San Antonio may require the Hepatitis B vaccine. Educational materials and questions regarding HIV and Hepatitis B virus can be addressed at Wellness 360 at UTSA.
